Butterfly Nicole

Hi everyone,

I saw this amazing picture of a butterfly on a woman’s cheek and I wanted to do a similar look on Nic.

I used the Make Up For Ever – Flash Colour Case for this look. Here are the pictures of how I created this look.

I started this makeup by paling out Nic’s complexion.

Next I started with a black eyeliner to softly draw thw outline and some of the details of the butterfly.

I knew that it’s easier to go from light to dark, so I started with the white of the butterfly.

Then adding the lighter coral and deeper almost red orange.

Now it was time to blend in the purple.

Time for blue…

Almost done, now adding the black of the butterfly.

I added a pinkyish coral to the lips and didn’t add anything alse.

I hope you enjoyed this look, it’s a great thing to try for a costume party or Halloween. From start to finish it took me 1,5 hours, so do know that details like this do take time.
